LISA PERKINSWith an ability to clarify and simplify complex business strategy, Lisa Perkins demonstrated her strength working alongside United Airline’s corporate communications team to deliver on-target messages and content every day to keep 60,000 employees connected to the airline’s business strategies and milestones as it worked out of bankruptcy. Key events included the launch of a new low-cost operation Ted; the transition of United Express flying from Atlantic Coast Airlines to new partners; and the launch of a brand campaign to further re-engage customers.
Lisa also created business education communications surrounding United’s new performance incentive plan—the first of its kind for the airline’s workforce that brought all employees from the CEO to the front-line maintenance worker on the same plan. Lisa joined Gagen MacDonald in 2003.
Lisa previously served as public relations project manager for Marcus Thomas LLC, an integrated public relations and advertising firm in Cleveland, Ohio. While there, she focused her skills on providing public and media relations support to a diverse group of organizations, including Swagelok Company, Leifheit International, U.S.A., and the Cleveland Browns. One highlight includes helping Leifheit bolster its position in the competitive U.S. housewares market by coordinating the introduction of the global manufacturer’s first full-scale product line in the U.S. to the country’s top industry retailers.
