MORGAN M. MARZECMorgan Marzec’s ability to get to the heart of complex business issues, simplify change and create actionable plans helps Gagen MacDonald’s clients engage employees and distributors to improve performance.
Working with United Airlines’ Business Transformation Office, for example, Morgan orchestrated an employee engagement campaign to implement sensitive operational changes and achieve aggressive cost savings, while maintaining operational performance and customer service. The effort mobilized leaders – from the executive suite to front-line supervisors – across three business divisions and the entire global network of airports, resulting in $229 million in cost savings – performance 48.8% better than plan.
Morgan also helped United’s Corporate and Government Affairs division develop its annual strategic plan. Facilitating the planning process across seven functions, Morgan helped the division align human and capital resources against common objectives.
Previously, with Baxter Healthcare, Morgan helped on the initiative redesign the company’s North American supply chain to improve customer service and reduce total delivered cost. Working with front-line employees, plant management and corporate executives, Morgan helped Baxter integrate planning across functions and developed a communications platform for leaders to manage employees through operational change.
Other clients she has supported included American Standard, Seyfarth Shaw LLP, and International Truck and Engine Corporation, in strategic areas of performance improvement, internal communications and brand delivery.
